WRITER'S GROUPS

Two small, intimate fiction writer's groups--one based in Orange County (Costa Mesa) and one in the Inland Empire (Redlands)--meet once or twice a month for three-hour workshop sessions. Both groups are ongoing, with a brief summer hiatus and observances of holidays. Sessions follow an informal, constructive and supportive workshop format. Any writing brought to a given session will be workshopped at that session. The workshop fee is $25 per session (or $125 for 6 sessions), and the first session is free. Maximum enrollment in each group is 10. Both groups welcome fiction writers of all interests, fiction genres and lengths, backgrounds and experience--both beginners and published writers--and provide not only workshop critiquing but also advice on marketing and publishing and contacts with agents and editors.
